Diffuser Silencers

It is our bestseller – and that speaks for itself. GLAUNACH’s diffuser silencer is a comparably small silencer with tremendous impact. Its compact design makes it the universal silencer for compressed gases and superheated steam at power stations, paper plants or natural gas pipelines – and everywhere where high pressure needs to be blown off in industrial areas. Instead of directly releasing the gas, it is transmitted through several pressure drop stages specially adopted and individually manufactured for every single industrial use case.

It’s GLAUNACH’s diffuser technology that holds the innovation. A specially designed stainless steel wire mesh provides regulated pressure compensation without any turbulences and swirls, and reduces flow noise. Using high-quality materials ensures that sudden pressure or temperature rise does not damage the silencer. This results in a durable investment, which allows blow-off noise to be reduced by up to five times without using any sound-absorbing material.

Alternatively, the diffuser silencer can be equipped with a special mix of isolating material to increase the thermal and acoustic absorption. To even more baffle the noise, the diffuser silencer can be combined with an absorption silencer. This enables you to reach about any noise reduction desired.
