Diffuser Cartridges

With the construction of new boilers, equipment change, or repair work, debris may be introduced into the piping system. This must be removed before the process gas or steam is used. These contaminants are removed by “blowing free“ the pipe-line. Often silencers are used that do not withstand the continuous stress or which become ineffective as a result of obstructions in the diffuser.
Glaunach has developed a special Silencer which can be used repeatedly. This silencer allows for the replacement of the diffuser cartridge in the event its performance is impeded by debris and back pressure becomes too high. At conventional baffle silencers the absorbing material is often destroyed after a short time. We have solved this problem with our new diffuser technology.
